Privacy Notice
This notice explains how GamerWordle handles information when you use the game. GamerWordle does not require an account and is designed to work without optional analytics or advertising.
Information stored on your device
GamerWordle uses browser local storage for puzzle progress, completed guesses, streak and XP totals, theme, sound preference, and your privacy choice. This information stays in your browser unless you clear site data. It is necessary to resume a puzzle and preserve preferences.
Optional analytics
If analytics is configured and you accept optional services, Google Analytics may receive events such as puzzle views, submitted attempts, completion status, selected mode, and result sharing. GamerWordle does not send the answer you typed, your name, or an account identifier. Google may process device, browser, approximate location, and network information under its own policies.
Optional advertising
If advertising is configured and you accept optional services, Google AdSense may load advertising resources and process identifiers or device information to deliver and measure ads. Declining optional services prevents GamerWordle from loading its analytics and advertising scripts for that visit.
Your choices
You can accept or decline optional services when first visiting. Use the Privacy choices link in the game footer to change that decision. You can also clear GamerWordle site data in your browser. Declining does not limit game access.
Purposes and legal basis
Local game storage supports the service you request. Optional analytics and advertising rely on your consent where consent is required. GamerWordle does not knowingly sell personal information. Advertising technology can be treated as sharing under some privacy laws, so the decline option is available before those scripts load.
Retention and third parties
Local progress remains until you clear it. Retention for information processed by Google is governed by the settings and policies of the connected Google accounts. Review the Google Privacy Policy and Google advertising information.
If you follow an external support, sponsor, or affiliate link, that provider may receive ordinary request information such as the referring page and will apply its own privacy policy.
Children
GamerWordle is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect account information from children.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or object to processing of personal information. Most GamerWordle data is stored only in your browser and can be removed by clearing site data. For requests concerning operator-controlled information, use the contact route below.
Contact and changes
Contact the site operator through the project issue tracker. This notice may be updated when data practices or providers change. The effective date above will be revised for material updates.
