How to play GamerWordle

  1. Read the gaming category and clue.
  2. Enter a dictionary word matching the board length. The answer is a gaming term.
  3. Use green, yellow, and gray feedback to refine the next guess.
  4. Solve the daily term in seven attempts and share your spoiler-free result.

Daily puzzle and unlimited practice

Everyone receives the same daily puzzle at midnight UTC. Practice mode offers unlimited puzzles across combat, movement, worlds, systems, crafting, technology, strategy, and gaming culture.

Before you play

The interactive puzzle needs JavaScript. Enable it to use the board and keyboard. The strategy guide explains accepted opening words, gaming vocabulary, and a worked example without requiring JavaScript.

Guesses must match the board's exact length and appear in the English dictionary or gaming vocabulary. Answers come from a separate curated pool of 400 gaming terms. After two accepted guesses, a hint reveals the first letter and the number of A, E, I, O, and U vowels. Rejected guesses are not scored and do not spend an attempt.
